Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 June 2026

These Terms govern your access to and use of MeetSmara (the “Service”), owned and operated by Language Intelligence, Inh. D. Benotmane, Zugerstrasse 49, 6340 Baar, Switzerland (“Language Intelligence”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

The service

MeetSmara captures meeting audio locally (without a recording bot), transcribes and translates it in real time, and generates post-meeting intelligence such as summaries, decisions, action items, mind maps, and chat across your meetings. Features and availability may change as the product evolves.

Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Recording & consent — your responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture, transcribe, and translate the meetings you use MeetSmara for, including obtaining any consent or giving any notice required by the laws and policies that apply to you and the other participants. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction; when in doubt, inform participants and obtain consent.

Plans, billing & trials

  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in EUR or CHF depending on your region, exclusive of any applicable taxes.
  • Trials and any promotional or beta allowances are provided as described at sign-up and may change or end.
  • You can cancel at any time; paid access continues until the end of the current billing period and is not pro-rated, except where required by law.
  • Usage-based allowances (e.g. monthly meeting hours) reset each billing period; exceeding them may pause capture until you upgrade or the period resets.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MeetSmara for unlawful purposes, to infringe others’ rights, to attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service, or to process the personal data of others without a lawful basis.

Your content

You retain all rights to your meeting content and the outputs you generate. You grant MeetSmara the limited rights needed to process and store that content to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your content or use it to train third-party models.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party sub-processors and integrates with third-party tools you choose to connect (e.g. calendars, Slack, CRMs). Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

AI-generated output

Transcripts, translations, summaries, and other AI outputs may contain errors or omissions and are provided to assist you, not to replace your own judgement. Verify anything you rely on for important decisions.

Intellectual property

MeetSmara, its software, and its branding are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership in it.

Availability & warranties

We work hard to keep the Service available and reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind except those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetSmara is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or revenue. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination you may export your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and the Service is the competent courts of the Canton of Zug, Switzerland, unless mandatory law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
